I completely enjoyed that. It put a smile on my face :)

Late, maybe but well worth the wait – and one more than I’ve managed to do!

Tis beautiful, Will. Conjures much for me, both visually and musically. Roy being one of my mother’s favourites – and even now evoking a certain ambient melancholy for a particular part of my childhood (remembering especially a 60s holiday in Devon, all those years ago. I was eight and Mr Orbison was a constant on the jukebox). Only the Lonely was her fave. And as she was fond of saying: “Such a tragic life, yet still he sings…” Yes, indeed.

And as for fairgrounds…

A few months ago, Valdez was testing the hypothesis that anything accompanied by a Philip Glass soundtrack will be profound.
Whereas this proves that anything accompanied by a Big O soundtrack will be melancholy and slightly sinister. Even a rollercoaster.
Maybe I’ve just seen Blue Velvet too many times.
Nicely put together.

So elegantly captures the memory of childhood summer. Beautiful edit.
