(wish i could attend the long term thinking seminar) regarding the rest of your post's references: yes, i'm there too. so nice to see that queneau, perec and all are resurfacing as creative models. (and, they all dabbled quite seriously with pataphysics, btw. -even cage) regarding the eno quote: exactly. i know how tenuous it is to get past the architect's compositional, creative schemata. it takes years to become a good gardener, just being able to see what happens when a seed, any seed is planted. that is when OuLiPo's generative stratagems come in as a liberating blessing. oh yeah!
