Snapz Pro X and POSSESSED by Curtis Bernhardt are the key tools.

searched the DVD for loops
placed 6 short asynchronous loops in multi-panel html page and
then captured a run with Snapz, quicktime compressed to 640×480 VGA
then set to loop.

a certain amount of randomness is key
